Facilitator, Iaşi & Suceava

World Vision is looking for 1 Facilitator, Iaşi & Suceava – 4h/day

The Facilitator:

  • will support implementation of UNHCR Livelihoods Project in Romania covering Iasi & Suceava area by assure the selection and enrolment of the target group in the project and creation of life/job/career plan plans for refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable host communities participating in the project, according with project indicators.
  • will assure the completion of the life/job/career plans for the project beneficiaries, centralization of job offers and realization and presentation of project beneficiaries; 
  • will facilitate bi-monthly training sessions to support the job application process, while emphasizing securing immediate entry-level formal positions as well as higher-quality employment prospects etc.;
  • will provide advanced employment assistance upskilling, career development and recruiting services, through individual counselling sessions, to formally employed persons who demonstrate a significant likelihood of earning advanced forms of employment.
  • will work closely with the local team in all project implementation processes to ensure high implementation quality of the UNHCR Project.
  • will report directly to the Area coordinator and work closely with the local team.

Required Professional Experience:

  • General professional experience: Minimum of 1-2 years. The experience in emergency and grant-funded projects it’s an advantage
  • Specific experience in the community – minimum 1 year
  • Problem-solving attitude/ Team cooperation/ Proactivity
  • Attention and responsibility in the execution of tasks
  • Excellent organization, planning, motivation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and detail-oriented with excellent multitasking skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information
  • Communicates with integrity to different stakeholders (strong interpersonal skills)
  • Interact effectively with others, communicate clearly, and understand of the needs and requirements of all stakeholders
  • Ability to work in an intercultural team
  • Direct responsibility for quality execution of assigned duties, the application of the World Vision Romania Foundation’s policies in working with vulnerable persons.
